Plan of execution
Once arrived to appointment, we will make sure you get checked in and feel free to grab a drink and make yourself comfortable while waiting on your provider. We will take you to a treatment room and go over the consent forms and areas of concern to make sure you are the perfect candidate for this treatment. We will take photos that will be housed privately to your files. The injections will take your provider about 5 minutes. The provider will then massage arnica into the area for about 7 minutes. After the treatment is over, we will walk you to the front desk to checkout!
FAQ's
Will it hurt?
The pain is extremely mild and bearable. You mainly feel a slight poke with each injection site but definitely manageable.
Is it pregnancy safe?
We do not offer injections at The Skin Therapist during pregnancy. However, we can make other recommendations to treat your main skin concern while pregnant. Look into microneedling or come consult about particular chemical peels.
How long will I stay hydrated and when do I need my next treatment?
Your skin’s hydration level peaks at month 6 and then declines from there. We recommend getting treated every 9 months with Skinvive.
What changes will I notice in my skin?
Skinvive gives an amazing glow and raises light reflection on the skin. In clinical trials, the skin’s hydration has boosted over 100% from Skinvive, the first injectable moisturizer. This product has the ability to help soften the appearance of ice pick acne scars and help brighten any post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation scarring.
Will I have any downtime?
Minimal. Minimize strenuous exercise, exposure to sun or heat, and alcoholic beverages for the first 24 hours.
